The Grove Inventor Kit for the BBC micro:bit brings multiple possibilities to your micro:bit. The Grove shield is the core component in this kit, allowing your micro:bit to easily connect to Grove modules, including sensors, displays, and actuators.
For more information about the Grove framework, here's the introduction of Grove. For younger students, and teachers in a class environment, prototyping with Grove is quicker and easier, to keep students engaged, with no messing about with soldering or jumper wires.
We've prepared 10 grove modules to get you started with the BBC micro:bit. With these Grove modules, you can measure distance and display it, use gestures to create your own music, or make a smart guard for your desk or room. We have prepared all the necessary libraries(packages) for free download. If you are a beginner to the micro:bit, don’t worry because there are 12 different project to follow, step-by-step. For the more advanced, Grove will make integration of complex components quicker too.
